EVENT: America 250 - DAR Genealogy Workshop

The workshop will focus on meeting DAR members and their patriots’ identity, acquiring genealogy tips and strategies to strengthen your lineage research, while supporting members, prospective members, and the public no matter the state of one’s research journey.  Participants do not have to be a prospective member to attend and learn how to use the available resources. Whether you’re just beginning your family history or polishing your research, this session will offer practical tools, guidance, and one‑on‑one help with DAR genealogists.  An introduction to the DAR; its mission, history, and the unique roots of the chapter will be included.  So bring your notes, your questions, and your curiosity – the DAR is here to help you succeed.

Come explore how your family story connects to the broader story of our nation and how our chapter continues to preserve history and serve our community today.  Participants will have an opportunity “to make it and take it” patriotic craft.
