The desk top is inclined downward and hinged to a narrow platform across the top. The hinges are cast iron. The desk top opens to an interior. A shallow panel with rounded ends is attached at the top rear. A full-width drawer is below the desk cavity. Both the drawer and the desk lid have locks. The desk has a thin, clear finish.
