Comments
The city of Savannah, along the coast of Georgia, was founded in 1733. It is particularly well known for its antebellum architecture dispersed around the city’s grid plan that incorporates 24 public squares.
The complex pseudo-armorial cloisonné enamel crest on the handle occurs on other spoons not related to Savannah, suggesting that it has no purpose or meaning aside from decoration.
