Inscription

“San Francisco” appears in the bowl.  “STERLING” and the Towle touchmark are stamped into the back of the handle.

Comments

The spoon has “San Francisco” in the bowl with little other ornament.  The twisted handle terminates in a sphere.  The maker's mark on the back of the handle appears to be one of the several slight variations of the A.F. Towle and Son firm.
