Comments

The slender andirons have a tapered iron shaft with a bulbous swelling near the base.  They have arched strap feet ending in disks. The billet bars are not stepped. A cast brass urn shaped finial--the latest decorative feature on these andirons--is surmounted by stacked reels and a spherical top.
