“28”, an unidentified maker’s touchmark, and “STERLING” are stamped into the back of the handle.

Comments

The spoon as a twisted handle that is tightly twisted near the bowl and gradually opens up and becomes larger as it reaches the tip.  The bowl has the name "Santa Cruz / Cal." within an irregular panel as the only decoration.
