Comments
The spoon bears the relief image of a man holding a firearm in his right hand. He is identified below as Solomon Juneau. Juneau (1793-1856) was a French Canadian fur trader and founder of the city of Milwaukee. He served as the first mayor in 1846-1847.
The spoon bowl has a pinched tip, an unusual design that occurred several time among souvenir spoons made in the early 1890s.
