GETTYSBURG” is on the handle. Gorham touchmarks with “STERLING” and “3 2” are on the back of the handle.

Comments
The spoon handle tip features a sculpted rendition of the white marble statue of Liberty atop the Soldiers’ National Monument, dedicated in 1869, at Gettysburg. The decisive war was fought from July 1 to 3, 1863. The bowl shows sword-bearing mounted soldiers leading a charge.
