Comments
The spoon features a profile of a man (perhaps meant to be Christopher Columbus) within a laurel wreath at the tip of the handle, above Exposition wording and a globe surmounted bu a lighthouse and other symbols. It is on a winged shaft and anchor above a portrait of what is likely the Santa Maria. The back of the handle is laden with similar imagery, including a globe with 1492 and 1893 engraved across it.
