Comments

The three-legged trivet exhibits clever fabrication.  The front legs are made of bar stock with the ends bent to form feet.  The opposite ends pass over the corners of the frame, where they are peened, and become the curved bars that support a vessel.  The leg under the handle passes through the rounded frame and the handle bar.  The end of the leg is peened to hold everything together.
