Comments
The lidded pink luster tea pot is a bellied rectangular form with canted corners, a curved spout, and a C scroll handle. The body tapers at the bottom to a molded foot. The lid is domed with a finial at the top. The teapot and lid are decorated with several bands of pink luster. Delicate stylized boughs and motifs composed of dots in a line, all rendered in red, green, and blue, decorate the spaces between the solid bands.
The teapot was made en suite with sugar bowl, accession no. 2023.2, and cups and saucers, accession no. 2023.13.
