Comments
This simple, molded tea cup, with no accompanying saucer, is brightly decorated in purple, yellow, reddish-orange, green, and blue enamels, painted in leafy flowers that emanate from a bowl. The decoration within the bowl mimics the wide red stylized floral band around the inside near the rim. Made with a blue-tinted glaze, the cup is an example of pearlware, a creamware that imitate more expensive porcelains in the color of its body.
