Comments

The set of six pink luster tea cups, namely cups without handles, have straight sides the cant outward. The cups stand on ringed feet.  The outsides have alternating solid leaves with deeply serrated edges and oval leaves with outlines and dark central stems. The cups have thick bands at the rim.

Pink lusterware was among the most popular Staffordshire ceramics made for local consumption and export. Shades of pink were achieved by firing a metallic oxide glaze of gold.
