Comments
This tea cup and saucer has decoration consistent with the late 18th century, but the large size of each object suggests a later date. Each piece displays the same decorations and features an 8-pointed star in red with smaller blue and green elements. It is painted on the center bottom of the rounded-wall saucer and once on the outside of the cup. Other decoration includes a wavy dotted band in red and a green and red stylized floral band.
