Comments

The spoon has a clam-shaped bowl attached to the tail of a long, scaly fish that serves as the handle.  It is illustrated in Souvenir Spoons. Containing Descriptions and Illustrations of the Principal Designs Produced in the United States, comp. George B. James, Jr. (1891), p. 146.
