Comments

The bowl shows an accurate rendition of the stone building that served as Washington’s Valley Forge headquarters.  It was built about 1773.  He used it between December 1777 and June 1778.

The handle is ornamented by twisting.  The handle tip has an asymmetrical outline and no decoration except the engraved placename.
