Inscription
“San Francisco / California” is above and below the image in the bowl. The handle is engraved "1892" on the underside. Gorham hallmarks and “STERLING” are stamped into the underside of the bowl at the juncture of the handle.

Comments
The souvenir spoon with a decoratively twisted handle has a bowl with a sharp-pointed end. Inside, it shows oranges amid leaves identified as San Fransisco, California. A date engraved on the underside of the handle was likely done after purchase of the spoon.
