Comments

The silver spoon has three-dimensionally modeled eagle with a snake in its mouth, a symbol of Mexico with origins in Aztec traditions.  The circular bowl has “MEXICO” at the top of an image that may represent the Pyramid of Tenayuca, just north of Mexico City.  It was built about 1224 by the Chichimec people and later conquered by the Aztecs.
