Comments

This spoon, unmarked by the maker, has “Mexico” in the gold-washed bowl.  It is unlike almost all other souvenir spoons in its decoration: the cartouche-shaped handle is filled with delicate filigree.  More filigree appears on the five lobes near the bowl.  Silver pearl-like ornaments are scattered throughout the design.
