Comments
This simple, undecorated spoon has the name Gettysburg in pierced letters in the handle. Several different spoons with pierced lettering exist. The style of lettering is consistent with spoons made around 1900.
The touchmarks are those of the Charles M. Robbins Co., founded in 1892 by Charles M. Robbins (1856-1929). Robbins retired in 1910, but the business continued as the Robbins Co. until merging with The Tharpe Co. in 2007.
