Comments
The gold-washed spoon features a brightly enameled image of the Union Jack, the flag of the United Kingdom. The spoon bowl says Banff, Al[ber]ta, of Canada. Although a separate country, Canada acknowledges the British Royal Family as their own. Banff is a town in the Canadian Rockies.
Aside from the gold bowl, the spoon has a twisted handle that appears to have been created by twisting the metal rather than die-stamping it in that shape.
