Inscription

A Whiting touchmark and “STERLING” are on the underside of the handle.  “M.C.W. 1893” is engraved on the underside of the handle tip.

Comments

The spoon exhibits a mountain scene with “Asheville N.C.” above it.  The handle is an ornate foliate design.

The initials of Mary Corbit Warner accompanied by the date 1893 are engraved on the handle.
