Comments

The sconce is of a very unusual shape.  A candle socket rises from a crimped drip pan that in turn attaches to a cylindrical arm with a sharp angle.  The horizontal tube attaches to a truncated conical base (oriented vertically) with a hanging loop of wire to attach the lamp to a wall.

The form of this sconce has no early corollaries.  The absence of any evidence of use or age suggests that it is modern.
