Comments

The round pot has a thicker band around the outside that reinforces the rim.  Projections provide anchors for the wire handle; two triangular projections aid tipping the pot.

The cast metal is fine and smooth.  The underside has a linear casting dam.  All of the construction features of this pot suggest it was made after 1850.
