The platter has a two dents or creases in the well.

Comments

The large brass platter has a broad rim with the edge rolled around an iron wire or care.  Two triangular hanging hooks have been attached to the underside of the edge.  The platter exhibits no evidence of use or wear, aside from the dents, and may have been used as wall decoration.
