Comments
The plates in this set of six have three delicately painted, narrow bands, rendered in purples and greens, around the rim. The outer edge is gilded. A deep red rose in the center of the plate has purple and green flowers and leaves arranged is a spray. A ring of eight floral clusters in purples and greens surrounds the center. The undersides of the plates have unglazed and chamfered foot rings. The plates have some imperfections (lumps) in the clay body.
