Comments

Decorated in the conventional Canton manner, this plate shows the usual assortment of Chinese images in their typical arrangement.  Some sections, notably that between the two pagoda-like buildings, are abstracted to the point of losing identification.  For similarly decorated plates, see accession nos. 2011.1 through 2011.5.
