Comments

This small plate is decorated with conventional Canton images, namely two sparsely rendered Chinese buildings in the middle right, two solid mountains in the distance, and rocks and trees. The solid blue band around the rim with an inner band of diagonal slashes is also typical of those wares made for export to the Western market.
