Comments
The transfer-printed blue plate shows an image entitled Bamburgh Castle. The actual castle, on the northeast coast of England in Northumberland, is a Norman structure and a well-known landmark. As shown on the plate it appears to be nestled in a rolling landscape whereas it sits on a rise near the sea. A band of flowers runs around the rim.
