Condition Notes

The glaze has worn and flaked away in places in the center of the bowl.  The edge has chips.  The plate has darkened with age and use.

Comments

This shallow plate has a coggled edge, a minimal decorative effort that helped prevent chipping or delamination of the glaze in this susceptible area.  Without further decoration, suggesting a narrower date and/or place of manufacture is problematic.
