Condition Notes

The inside of the rim has two areas of glaze loss.  The inside bottom of the bowl has some chips and losses.

Comments

The plate has a coggle-decorated rim and five lines of slip decoration, more or less parallel, across the shallow body.  Each decorative motif was made with a slip cup having four quills through which flowed the liquified yellow clay, or slip.
