Comments
This oil lamp has a shaft with a bold ring or knop about 2/3 from the bottom. The flared base has a rim around the edge forming a pan. A solid C scroll handle near the top of the shaft provides easy handling. A horizontal arm opposite the handle holds the wick pan. The wick was originally gravity fed from a blown glass reservoir now detached. The glass reservoir has faint rib molding. While blowing it, the glassmaker swirled the ribs.
This lamp is similar to oil lamp, accession no. 1959.3662.
