Comments
A fish against a net-like mesh is at the tip of the handle, above an antlered stag’s head. A fishing pole and hunting rifle are shown along the length of the handle. The back of the handle identifies Lake George. Since the mid-19th century, Lake George has been a popular resort area with fine hotels, and a source of “Sports and pleasures of the Mountains” as declared on the handle.
Identification of "EB III" and the relationship of that person to Mary Corbit Warner is unknown.
