Condition Notes
The inside of the rim has two flakes near the spout, the larger being about 1-1/4 inches. The bottom of the pitcher near the base of the handle has several chips and rough areas.
Comments
This large, cylindrical pitcher, probably used to serve ice water or another cooled drink, is decorated on each side with peacocks above a brick wall and a beaded band. Palm trees and a branch with clusters of some kind of round fruit are in the background and below a beaded band at the top. The spout projects above an architectural column or pilaster, as does the strap handle.
