Comments
The fireplace tongs have two long round bars, with knops in the center and flat discs at the fireplace end. Near the handle, the tongs become a large C-shaped hinge covered by brass discs on each side and riveted together. The brass handle has a wide knop in the center with reels at each side and is peened in place at the tip.
