Comments
The cup and matching saucer are decorated in pink luster with pink, green, and red enamels. The decoration features large pink enamel blossoms connected by a stylized floral vine. The two circular lines in the bottom center of the two saucers are of different sizes on each, indicating the likelihood of different decorators for each, although they were still sold as a set. Other minor differences exist in the execution of the designs on each pair.
Pink lusterware was among the most popular of Staffordshire ceramics made for local consumption and for export. It was very popular in the United States.
