Inscription

“From Chase / House Annapolis / 1771[?]” is written in ink on a paper label attached to the outside bottom of the saucer.

Condition Notes

The cup is broken in half and held together with glue and two staples.  The glaze exhibits craquelure.  The gilded bands were done in the late 19th or early 20th century.
