Comments

The small cast bell has an iron clapper with seams indicating it was cast in a two-part mold. It does not hang from a strap as do larger, normal-sized bells.  Instead, this bell hangs from a single iron hook through a tang, which is part of the casting.

Unlike normal-sized bells, it does not make much noise and may have served another purpose, perhaps for a pet.
