Comments

The trapezoidal bell is made of a sheet of iron folded at the top to form the front and back sides.  The ends are curved and joined with a rivet near the bottom.  The U-shaped iron hanging strap at the top is a bar bent to shape, inserted, and riveted from the underside.  A metal clapper is suspended within.

This cow bell is similar to accession no. 2018.186.1.
