Comments
This chamberstick has a cylindrical shaft with a drip pan at the top and a prominent flat band in the center. Pairs of rings are scored into the shaft above and below the band. No seam is visible on the shaft, suggesting that it may have been cast. The shaft encloses a side-ejector made of iron and having a brass button knob. The shaft attaches to a circular, shallow pan with canted sides that are rolled around an iron wire at the top. A cast circular handle is attached to the sidewall of the pan with two copper rivets set in at uneven heights.
