Comments

The columnar candlesticks have four rigs near the bottom of the shaft, which stands on a molded square base with rounded corners.  Molded rings at the top allow for a removable bobeche.  Much of the thin layer of silver originally fused to the copper sheet that has been almost entirely polished away is visible underneath the bobeche, where it did not tarnish and was not polished.  Some also remains in the cove molding around the base.  The bottoms of the candlesticks are weighted with iron plates.
