Comments

The candlesticks have octagonal candle sockets above an inverted baluster shaft.  The base is square with chamfered corners.  A hole in one side of the candle socket allows removal of the candle stub, a procedure addressed by ejectors in later styles.

The shafts were cast in halves.  They screw into the tops of the bases.
