Comments
The cylindrical candlestick has a rolled sheet-iron shaft. The seams meet where a cut for a side ejector level protrudes. The slightly dished drip pan soldered to the top has a tang holder. At the bottom, it attaches to a domed foot.
Collectors of this form of candlestick have called it a “hogscraper” because of its similarity to a tool designed to remove bristles from pig skins.
