Comments

The large, free-blown bowl has a wide brim with a folded edge, made to strengthen this vulnerable area.  The glassblower pushed up the bottom to create a firm and stable base.  A large pontil mark remains on the outside bottom of this small domed area.

The form and size of this bowl in often called a milk bowl or milk pan.
