Comments
The three tulips in the pierced handle suggest a design link to the Aesthetic Movement, a distinctive style, based in part on Japanese influences, that began in England in the late 1860s and 70s. It spread to America about 1880. The spoon, catalogued among the large souvenir spoon collection of Mrs. Mary Corbit Warner, has no other clues or ties to places, people, events, or other collectible themes.
