Edinburgh hallmarks with a "B" date letter and "J.M.T." are on the back of the handle.

Comments

The spoon has a prominent Scotch thistle at the tip.  The crabstock handle (i.e., imitating a twig branch) has a leafy motif wrapped around its middle.  The bowl is ornately relieved with a prancing or rampant unicorn within a shield
