Comments
The spoon, whose maker remains unidentified, is decorated using a cloisonné technique in which enamels fill areas defined by metal walls. The handle is rendered in blue and white in stylized floral motifs.
The “850” on the back of the handle identifies silver purity, namely 850/1000, which is common in European flatware.
