Holiday Exhibit: PETER AND WENDY
Sponsored by:
This Christmas continue the tradition of touring the distinctive holiday exhibitions of recreating scenes from classic children’s literature at the Historic Odessa Foundation.
This year’s holiday vignettes are transformed at the National Historic Landmark Corbit- Sharp House, which is celebrating its 250th anniversary! The imaginative tradition in Odessa continues this year with adaptations from the magical novel Peter and Wendy published in 1911 by the Scottish novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie. Visitors will be delighted to pretend to “never grow up” as they “walk through the book” while touring the Darlings’ parlor and nursery, then strolling through neverland to the lost boys’ home, and finally coming on board Captain Hook’s pirate ship. Come take an adventure through Historic Odessa while continuing to create memories with your family this holiday season!
