Comments

This unmarked spoon is made of cut glass with a stamped eagle attached to the tip of the handle.  The eagle appears to hold arrows in one talon and laurel leaves in the other, suggesting that this symbol is of the United States, although eagles were common decorative motifs in many European countries.  The base of the metal tip is a classical anthemion.  The outside bottom of the bowl is cut with diamond facets.
