Holiday Candlelight Tour Hosted by Associate Curator

Create a family memory while getting into the Christmas spirit by participating in an exclusive evening candlelight guided tour presented by the associate curator of the Christmas exhibit, Account of a Visit from St. Nicholas, at the National Historic Landmark, Corbit-Sharp House, c. 1774.  

Enjoy hearing the unforgettable Christmas poem while discovering the inspirations and process behind decorating each room vignette including the traditional Christmas Parlor and the children’s colorful visions of sugar plums.

At the end of the personal tour enjoy beverages at the National Historic Register Cantwell’s Tavern, c.1822.  This event is perfectly suited for the entire family!  Come celebrate the museum’s 35th anniversary of classic children’s literature based holiday exhibits and the bicentennial of Clement Clark Moore’s world famous poem!
